A bit about thegirlwithartandsoul….

Right now, I am currently working as a Certified Massage Therapist. I do plan on attending school within the next year to obtain a Certificate in Addiction Counseling. Additionally, I want to incorporate that Certification with my massage therapy and work with horses as part of the healing process for peoples shattered lives. I am a working artist. I have been drawing and painting since I could hold a pencil. I love to incorporate my massage therapy sessions with my intuitive gifts and do mandala drawings of what I pick up as my clients personal “totem animals” as a way of helping them to discover more about themselves. I have 2 beautiful and very creative kids. I am so very proud of them! My passion and the first love I can remember having is horses. My first word spoken was “wassy”-which my mom, much to her chagrin, tells me meant horsey. I have no idea where my passion and great love and understanding of horses came from but I am so very fortunate to have been able to work with and own a number of different breeds. I am so glad to have come across the world of blogging..I look forward to the journey of expression through this wonderful and new (to myself) medium.
